Therapy is an investment in yourself and your family. It takes time, emotional energy, vulnerability, and a financial commitment.

Therapy sessions are 50-minutes in length. They can occur in office or via telehealth (video sessions) through your phone, tablet or computer.

We do not accept insurance directly. However, our therapists are able to provide a “Superbill” for possible insurance reimbursement, depending on your insurance company and policy. Please see the section below on insurance reimbursement.

We offer phone consultation calls to ensure we are a good fit. Contact us to schedule a consultation.

Rates

Heather Peterson, LMFT: $170 per 50-minute session

Kami Kazel, AMFT: $120 per 50-minute session

Insurance Information & Superbills

We are considered Out-of-Network providers with most PPO insurance plans. However, many insurance companies may still reimburse for therapy services or cover a percentage of them, depending on your plan. If applicable, we will provide you with a special receipt called a "Superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to confirm the coverage percentage for out-of-network mental health providers. Many clients are reimbursed 50-80% of the session fee. This means your out of pocket cost could be $24-$85 per session.

If your plan includes a deductible, the session costs will be applied towards it until the deductible amount is reached. Once you have met your deductible, your insurance company may reimburse you for the sessions, depending on your policy. You can ask your insurance company whether or not you have a deductible and if so, how much it is.

Please contact us with any questions.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
