As a psychotherapist, I believe in the importance of treating the whole person—which includes mind, body, and soul. I’ll help you discover what roots you and your family. We’ll then use that as a guide for healing.

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

If life at home has left you feeling emotionally drained, worried about your child or family, or simply overwhelmed by the demands of daily life, please know you’re not alone. Many individuals and families today are navigating complex challenges—balancing personal well-being while caring for others. You may find yourself wondering if life is supposed to feel more manageable or joyful. That question is often the first step toward healing.

Since 2009, I’ve been deeply honored to walk alongside clients through their most vulnerable moments. I care greatly about this work—from young children to teens, adults, and families. Supporting people in discovering clarity, peace, and purpose is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

In 2023, I founded Rooted Counseling, a group practice grounded in relational, values-driven care. My vision was to expand services to meet the growing mental health needs of families and individuals in our community. Through Rooted Counseling, I now have the joy of not only serving more clients but also mentoring and supervising other therapists as they grow in their clinical work. Building a collaborative team of thoughtful, compassionate professionals allows us to offer even more support to the families we serve.

My Story

I approach therapy with a holistic and relational lens. Whether you’re a parent seeking support for your child, a woman navigating life’s transitions, or an individual carrying the weight of unresolved trauma, my goal is to create a compassionate, safe, and reflective space just for you.

As a wife and mother of two, I personally understand the importance of having a space to reconnect with yourself—and how essential it is to support the family system as a whole. When our lives feel out of alignment with what truly matters to us, we often experience emotional discomfort—like anxiety or depression. Together, we can work to uncover the deeper causes, restore balance, and build healthier patterns.

My work with children frequently includes family therapy, as I believe parents and caregivers are vital to the healing process. With adults, our work often takes on a deeper, longer-term focus, grounded in attachment theory and values-based exploration.

I also have a strong passion for trauma recovery and use EMDR to help clients of all ages process painful experiences in a way that brings lasting relief and transformation. For those who desire it, I offer Christian counseling as part of an integrated therapeutic approach.

We’re all grieving something. Finding yourself here likely means that the weight has become too heavy to carry alone. I believe you’re here for a reason and my team and I would be honored to support you in finding renewed hope, connection, and joy in your life.

Let’s connect.
